As Said The Whale invite their Welsh fans to share a final post-tour drink before heading home to Vancouver, I took the chance to speak with singer-guitarist Ben Worcester about his band’s experiences on British soil, as well the overwhelmingly positive reception to their latest full-length, Little Mountain
hate whoring my own blog out like this (especially using the platform of ANOTHER blog), but i conducted my first interview on sunday and i’m really proud of the end result! it was such a good experience talking to a member of my favourite band in such depth, and it’s definitely encouraged me to do more freelance journalism! anyway, i’d love your comments and constructive criticism for next time.
currently in the midst of a canadian music extravaganza. this band were so good on sunday! anyone wanna suggest me some other decent hosers to listen to? currently into said the whale, hollerado, we are the city, hey ocean! and these guys (library voices).

ah man, that’s awesome! it was SUCH a good gig, and we got to hang out with some of them after too :) easily the nicest band i’ve ever met. i’ll try and post the interview i got with ben later on today!
